Planetary K-Index
The K-index gives you a quantification of the disturbance of the magnetic field of the earth. The index yields values between 0 and 9, with values exceeding 5 indicating geomagnetic storms. It is computed from the maximum fluctuations that are observed by a magnetometer.
This index is provided by NOAA Geomagnetic Activity Observation and Forecast.
