Weather Symbols
Weather symbols exhibit many similarities with WW Codes: symbols describe the present and past weather status given a reference time (e.g. presence of rain in the last hour). Like all the other layers, click ”Add Layer” and select ”Weather Symbols” as layer mode in the layerstack section.
In addition to the intervals in the ww codes, weather symbols can also be shown for 20 and 30 minutes, respectively. When the user adds the layer through the ”Apply” button, the layer appears in the Layer Stack. The source, interval, opacity and resolution (spacing) of the symbols can be adjusted in the Layer Stack.
